Technological Comparison for Facility Managers: Preserved Greenery vs Living Walls
In the design of offices and commercial spaces, the choice between dry ecosystems and hydroponic systems determines the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). Option 1: Preserved Greenery offers maximum control. It is a dry installation system that guarantees zero water consumption, total zero-maintenance, and maximum performance in terms of Reverberation reduction (RT60) and fire classification (B-s2,d0). Option 2: Living Walls. Integrated with our patented Hydro Technology, it is the ideal soilless system for projects aiming at active air purification and a dynamic biophilic impact to obtain high scores in LEED and WELL protocols.
The Technological Crossroads.
Two industrial technologies, one architectural standard. Select the path best suited to your structural and maintenance needs.
Preserved Greenery
The charm of pure nature, engineered for architecture. Ideal for environments where maintenance-free is required.
Choose Preserved Greenery
Living Walls
The patented soilless system. Fully integrated water management to bring the true benefits of living nature into indoor spaces.
Choose Living Walls
Industrial Standard.
Architectural Precision.
Forget improvised labor and complex maintenance. Our supply chain produces high-precision modules ready for installation.
Zero-Tolerance CNC Cutting
Our supports are born from CAD design and are computer numerical control (CNC) milled to guarantee millimetric joints on your walls. No installation errors.
Patented Systems (Zero Soil)
From dry Preserved Greenery to the hydroponic system for Living Walls. Maximum hygiene, absence of parasites, and regulatory compliance for corporate and healthcare environments.
Plug & Play Installation
The worksite does not stop. Modules arrive on-site ready and numbered. Fast and clean mechanical fastening, ideal for already operational offices and tight deadlines.
Comfort is an asset.
Noise is a cost.
Optimal acoustics support productivity and reduce stress. Move the slider to explore predictive models for reverberation reduction (RT60), evaluating the potential of these bio-infrastructures in transforming a structural issue into a high-performing investment.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
What is the difference between a Living Wall and a Preserved Moss Wall?
Living Walls use a hydroponic or soil-based system that actively purifies the air by transforming CO2, but require irrigation systems, drainage, and phytostimulating lighting. Preserved Greenery, on the other hand, is a dry system (Dry-Tech) ideal for interiors: it requires no water or light, offering a biophilic and sound-absorbing impact with zero maintenance costs (Zero OPEX).
What is the difference between Lichen, Moss, and Preserved Foliage?
The difference is botanical and performance-based. Mosses are autonomous organisms that create a three-dimensional "undergrowth" effect (Flat or Pole Moss). Lichens derive from the symbiosis between a fungus and an alga, offering maximum sound absorption for open spaces. Foliage includes fronds (like ferns and eucalyptus) for a jungle effect. All are preserved through an ecological stabilization process.
Does a preserved vertical garden need natural light or irrigation?
Absolutely not. The preservation process (replacing the sap with vegetable glycerin) stops photosynthesis. Therefore, it survives perfectly in total darkness (0 Lux) and is the ideal solution for corridors, windowless meeting rooms, or elevators. Furthermore, it must never be watered to avoid washing away the natural preservatives.
Do indoor green walls attract dust or insects?
No. Preserved materials possess excellent intrinsic antistatic properties that repel dust deposition (cleaning is done sporadically with a light jet of cold air). Being inert matter and devoid of soil or sap, the wall does not attract insects, mosquitoes, or parasites, guaranteeing maximum hygiene in offices and hotel lobbies.
What happens if the air conditioning dries out the green wall too much?
The material requires normal relative humidity (around 40-70%). If heating drastically reduces humidity in winter, the moss and lichen temporarily stiffen. Never spray water. It is sufficient for the room's humidity level to return to recommended comfort levels for the material to naturally become spongy and soft again.
Do your plant walls comply with public fire safety regulations?
Yes. Our flagship Preserved Greenery solutions, treated with saline solutions, possess the European fire reaction certification Class B-s2,d0 (UNI EN 13501-1). This guarantees very low smoke emission and the absence of flaming droplets, making them fully suitable for installation in escape routes, shopping centers, theaters, and highly crowded venues.
