Every day we spend 90 percent of our day indoors and, quite automatically and unconsciously, we breathe in more than 11,000 liters of air, therefore, the air we breathe every day in our homes, schools and workplaces takes on vital importance in maintaining our health, and we need to become more aware of this.

It is thought that the most dangerous pollution is that of large cities, but studies show that indoor air can be up to five times more polluted. In fact, many products that we use daily and mistakenly consider harmless and safe are capable of releasing substances into the environment that are toxic and carcinogenic to humans.

These indoor-born pollutants, added to those from outside, remain trapped in our environments for several months, making them more polluted than we used to think.

The indispensable element for living

Three elements are necessary for us humans to survive: food, air and water.

We can go without eating for a few weeks, without drinking for a few days, but without air we can survive only a few minutes.

It is not easy to understand how important air is and when its quality affects our health.

If we notice that the water inside our glass is dirty, we decide not to drink it, but we cannot see the air we breathe in, and it is automatically released into our bodies, whatever its quality.

We must choose to breathe healthier air; to do this, nature can come to our aid, as it does in every area that affects our health.

Our solution

Green Habitat has developed over the years a wide range of wellness-related products that allow you to bring nature into any environment, from the smallest piece of furniture in the office to the largest exterior facade of a building.

The range of products offers a variety of possibilities, from modular systems that allow any surface to be coated side by side, to maintenance-free solutions that offer the possibility of making even small details or entire interior walls.

For tens of millennia, human beings have lived completely symbiotically with nature, immersed in greenery, and only over the past few centuries have they enclosed themselves in dwellings devoid of natural elements and increasingly sealed off, moreover built within cities filled with concrete, not having had time to adapt in evolution to this increasingly frenetic and invasive change.

Also linked to this concept are studies related to biophilia, man’s attraction to nature; in fact, it has always been desired by humans, just think of the depiction of Eden, seen as an immense lush garden that induces the heavenly thought of tranquility well-being and harmony.

Through the ‘wide range of products that Green Habitat offers at our disposal, we have the ability to recreate this feeling in any private or commercial environment, improving the health and well-being of workers.
